Sorry about your mishaps Patjoub, just take a few days off running and hopefully you will be back to normal soon.

I'm in exactly the same boat and worrying as have a charity 5k in three weeks now but been too ill to even get started. Everyone says it is much better to rest when ill/injured though so you have to remember you're taking a break for the right reasons and it's out of your control. Keep visualising yourself running and even sometimes I find listening to the podcasts helps for the couch to 5k as you're at least preparing yourself mentally! Hope you get back to form soon - use this time to do some stretches too too keep your joints and muscles in good shape

Have you come across the NHS Strength and Flex podcasts ? Gentle workouts for rest days - thoroughly recommend them. Get well soon x
