Week 3 done and completed it much better than I started! The app says to leave a day in between runs, my question is, can I do more often? Am currently doing a run every other day. Thanks in advance

Must have a rest day, never run on consecutive days or you could get injured.
Take the rest day between. There’s a good pinned post from Iannoda Truffe that explains why. It’s all about avoiding injury! But it’s ok to do other kinds of exercise on the alternate day; even brisk walking doesn’t have the impact damage.
Check out the post for Newbies... Runs on consecutive days are non negotiable... all too easy to end up on the IC..There is so much to do on some of the rest days.. strength and stamina work.. non impact exercise... All as important as the runs.. keep it slow and steady and enjoy!
You can do other types of exercise in between, but definitely don’t run on your rest days, as AlMorr says - you are very likely to injure yourself. And there is vital work going on repairing your muscles on the rest day. So it is a rule you should stick to.
