Park run?

So due to life I’ve not managed run two yet but my aunt wants me to do a park run in the morning. Should I make this run two or just do this at a pace we’re happy with?

Absolutely. Do it. Parkrun is fantastic. But stick to the plan. Do your 5 min warm up walk and the intervals as per the C25K app. Walk the rest following to the finish line.

Register, Print your barcode and bring it with you. You will love it.

I’m doing my 27th Parkrun tomorrow. Looking forward to a wet and windy Parkrun.

Definitely follow the plan. Try too hard too soon you will get injured. Enjoy parkrun, wonderful events 😀

The nice thing about sticking to the plan at parkrun is you get lots of PBs as you progress through the weeks. If you do a week 2 or week 3 run at parkrun, even though you only run for nine minutes and walk the rest, that will work out faster than today when you walked it all - so you’ll get a shiny PB next to your name :)

Sounds good! But doing it with my aunt so we went at our own pace. But my plan is run 2 Monday and we did jog a few bits but it was a bit muddy underfoot and I think I’d have slipped as I’m not a great runner xx
