26 minutes into my run and Kenny Loggins came on singing Danger Zone...... just the ticket I thought as I lit the afterburners and immediately got the worlds biggest stitch in my right side. Felt like I had to bail out, but I stuck with it, attempted to control my breathing and did the full 30 minutes without stopping. I looked at my watch to see that I’d covered 4.79km so I sneakily ran for another 1’20” (don’t tell Laura) and did the mythical 5k.
I’m so happy right now.
