I can’t actually believe I’ve got week 1 out of the way, but I’ve done it. 😊 i feel so proud in putting all the fears I have aside when I put my trainers on- being ‘seen’, and running in the dark mainly. I’ve fallen over and picked myself back up, worn tight leggings that only emphasise one of the reasons why I want to change my physical self, and found the courage to just ‘do it!’

Tonight I ran along a road full of traffic, lots of people walking and driving home from work, I just turned my music up, focused ahead and got on with the app, in a way having people around makes me conscious of my posture when running, and also in completing the correct amount of minutes, so I’ve turned a negative into a positive 😁😁

Thank you everyone for your suggestion of running/jogging slower, I took this great tip in board, and it’s helped my confidence and stamina 😁😁 x

Very VERY well done. It’s not easy starting out on Wk1 but you’ve done it. Keep running slowly - it’s the only way!

It’s a minor miracle what C25K does for you - you’ll be amazed at your progress. Well done for getting started - I’m a recent graduate and have lost a few inches on all those key measurements I’d like less of! The general health benefits are really noticeable quite quickly. You can definitely do this!

Great run... and that’s the toughest week done 😀

Well done getting over the fears and being seen... you will influence others by showing them how it’s done. Enjoy week 2
