Can’t deny it, it was challenging. Partly due to fact I chose wrong route - too much up hill!! And temp was -2! But what a fab feeling to achieve. Genuinely wasn’t sure I would be able to, this program certainly keeps the motivation pumping. As always thanks to all who post on here it’s encouraging to read the posts.
Wow! W5R3 done!!: Can’t deny it, it was... - Couch to 5K
Wow! W5R3 done!!
There you go... that’s what you came here to do.. great job. That 20 minutes is huge... first run after the halfway stage and you’re two thirds of the way to 30 minutes. Any doubts you had can go now... you can do this for sure, you just proved it!
Week 6 starts out looking easier... but the cumulative effect of the intervals isn’t... go slow and steady into them and you got this! Enjoy week 6.
Thank you. I am very slow! But happy enough to be so. I’ll take your advice and keep it that way in week 6 for sure.
There’s no too slow... the following link is from the original parkrun last Saturday. I’ve chosen it as it’s a Mecca for parkrunners, and many travel to run it... it’s average time is faster than the average parkrun... Mo Farah sometimes runs it... many seasoned runners make the pilgrimage... have a look down the bottom of the results. Everyone at that run became healthier and fitter by doing it last Saturday!
Huge well done... slow and steady into week 6!
