W5R3 done!!!

Honestly wanted to scream and punch the air when finished! Woohoo! First five minutes was the regular hell, but then just gave myself a strict talking to and reminding myself to just keep going, that it would ease up, and before you knew it Jo was telling me I was halfway. Knowing I was halfway I wasn’t going to let myself down so kept going and actually singing out loud. Starting to recognise a couple of people on my route and they all smiled and cheered me on, which was fabulous, and also a good distraction. And before you knew it Jo was telling me there were only two minutes left! Honestly, my ears are ringing now, so going to let myself have a good cool down, drink a bucket of water, but am THRILLED! It wasn’t pretty and my face is beetroot, but I did it. I know everyone says this, but honestly, if I can do it, anyone can.

Thank you! Think my sinuses (which are so bad right now) are going to explode out of my head, but so pleased I pushed myself through.

Thank you! And massive good luck! Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. I spent the whole time talking out loud to myself, singing out loud, distracting myself, but did get there. Just keep repeating over and over again that you can do! And you will x

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Very well done to you and I sincerely hope that your sinuses don’t explode 😂

I did mine yesterday and it really is such a good feeling eh? W6R1 is where we’ll need to go careful as it catches a lot of peeps out. Enjoy your celebratory weekend! 😉

Thanks! Well done you too! And yes, sinuses still in head. 😹Yes, I’ve also seen a couple of people commenting about W6R1, which glad I saw in time. As my new confidence probably would have firmly backfired on me. Going to take it slowly slowly.

Congratulations for being so determined to keep going after you knew you had reached half-way point . Way to go :)

You are going to be in for a real surprise and treat when you finish W9R3 - you will be overwhelmed with joy, and at the same time , emotional.... AND - yes, it really is worth the red face and mental push to say , one more step over and over again :) Hugs 🐾

Yay!!!!! I often do end up punching the air at the end of a run 😂 go for it 😁❤ I similarly end up with a beetroot face so that's a good sign you put your all into it 👏

Thank you! You honestly can do it too. Just take it really slow, and keep yourself distracted! Onward ho!

Well done you! You're lucky it's just the first 5 minutes that is hellish - some call it the Toxic 10 mine sometimes seems to go on for longer than that! 🤣

Sorry your sinuses are bad. You may like to try this link. A few weeks ago I had such a headache and realised it was my sinuses. I found this and repeated it over the following few days and felt it made a difference.
