Went out this morning and well I didn’t make it too far before I felt quite unwell! Had to cut my w4r2 and walk back. Feel like I’ve failed. I’m gonna try again tomorrow, but I hate not completing a run...

You haven't failed at all! Spend some time working out the reason you didn't feel well - have you picked up a bug, were you properly fed and watered, were you not properly rested? Once you know what went wrong you know how to fix it and you have succeeded in learning something about running. :)

Always remember the First Rule of C25k: The only run you fail is the run you don’t go for ! As Nelson Mandela put it,” I never lose. Sometimes I win, and sometimes I learn.” Follow Pianism’s sound advice and next time you’ll nail it x

You definitely didn’t fail! The fact you went out to run means you won! Today may just simply be one of those off days, your body telling you to rest up. Take a day off tomorrow and go at it again 💪🏻

Don’t worry! Knowing when to stop is important too. And what, it’s set you back 2 days, it’s nothing! You’ll be fine next time you do it!

Fail. Never. You got out of bed. Doesn’t matter that you walked home. All exercise is important. The next run will be better. Keep going.

Like the others have said. You definitely didn't fail. When I approached the 3rd run of week 5. The dreaded 20mins, I had a terrible time. I couldn't do it and like you had to walk. I thought it was over but turns out I developed a chest infection. My body was speaking to me. After rest I went out and tried again. Gradually it fitted into place. You can do it and don't beat yourself up. Even attempting each run is a WIN.

Oh ohhhhhh....there must be something that contacts me subliminally when someone uses the F word.....there's absolutely no such thing...you know the reason, you didn't feel 100% and that's what made the difference, some runs are better than others..some are completely rubbish and make you wonder what you're doing & question your ability...but bags the distance you did, bag the experience too...one of the first rules of being a successful runner is listening to your body and you did just that!!! Chin up, chest out, deep breaths and have another go...good luck x
