Run slower and then slower still ( embrace your inner snail!!) and you’ll manage your 8 runs 🀞πŸ’ͺ

Don’t be disappointed, just keep going ...tomorrow is another day to do next run

It is a start. In fact it is a great start because it is more than you did yesterday!!

5 out of 8 run sections is better than no runs at all. See this as a practice run, preparing you for the first week and next time aim for 6 out of the 8, then 7 out of the 8 and so on. That way you will still be seeing measurable progress and as soon as those first 8 runs are done, then that's you, you are into your first week.

You can do this and in a few weeks time you will look back and be proud of your progress.

Go easy on yourself. You got off the couch and you ran... so be damn proud. The guide that IannodaTruffe linked will give you lots of tips.. especially when it comes to pacing yourself, which is the usual issue in the early days for people.

Don’t worry about the finish lines... the start lines are much more important... keep crossing those and you will succeed.

Welcome to the forum, you can do this, enjoy your journey

It's amazing that you ran! You are on your own unique journey so dont forget that your first run is a amazing achievement. I've had this app over two years and I only began to properly train consistently from the middle of february this year. I cant say I'm fit but now that I'm on week 6 I can say that I can really feel the difference. You gotta believe firmly, with absolute conviction that this training works. And then naturally it will do. Repeat runs if you have to, you can only go at a pace that is right for you. You have got this! πŸ’ͺ And keep posting, let us know how you get on. I think virtual cheerleading helps so much with motivation too πŸ™‚ Anyway good luck and keep going. the second run will surprise you, just make sure you take a days rest in between so that you recover though.

Thank you everyone for such lovely comments, I feel much better about what I did do now rather than thinking about what I didn't.

I will keep going and hopefully improve little by little

Did my first one today also. I never made all 8 runs either so was a little disappointed but it's more than we did yesterday. We'll get there if we just keep putting one foot in front of the other 3 x a week for 9 weeks. Then just imagine where we will be πŸ™‚

Yes, I am sure it can only get easier. Good luck on your next run too
