First incomplete run
Managed 3.5k in 23 minutes but could not complete run home
Feeling a bit disappointed but have got bit of a bloated and sore tummy
but as was ready to stop after 5 minutes I suppose it's pretty good
Hi Shannie, remember any run is better than no run and far better to stop than end up injured or feeling ill! Sometimes there is no identifiable reason..sometimes we just have a "bad run day"! Here's hoping the next one is better - bet it will be!
There will always be days when your run doesn't go as planned. Sometimes it's bad but then at other times it's unexpectedly good. We've all had bad days - it doesn't take much to effect your running. Tiredness, everyday stress, even things you aren't aware of. You just have to roll with it and when you hit the road again you'll have a chance to see if you can do better. Keep up the good work. Just think how much you've achieved already!!!
It matters not how far you ran, but that you ran at all.
To paraphrase a little.
It hapoens to me at least once every three days , i just seem to have good days and bad days
Hopefully you're over the disappointed feeling by now. Rather than wishing you'd run further, maybe look at what caused the problem this time and try to prevent it happening again. Was it something you ate, or did you eat too soon before running?
Not sure what it was.eat at lunch time
Will be an unexplained mystery
I wouldn't beat yourself up over one run when you are clearly a bit poorly. And you still
Managed a reasonable run before stopping didn't you . Rest up, get better & try another day. You'll be fine x
I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed today... I could be proud because I finished the W4R1 today...
After completing C25K last week 😀 and feeling great. I’ve just done my second consolidation run and...
but after 20 mins of running I was totally pooped! I had to walk for a bit then started running and then...
