Does anyone else find morning runs more difficult? Any tips? I tried Banana an hour before, but still struggled. An evening run seems so much easier. 😬😬

Morning Runs
Hi. I did nearly all my runs in the morning as it’s easier for me and I don’t mind the dark and cold.
I always have a pint of water before I set off then eat when I’m done.
I expect it would vary from person to person. I prefer mornings, myself, partly because I’m really a morning person and partly because it’s too easy for me to find excuses not to run if I don’t just do it the first I’m up. I’ve done an evening run once, though, and it was great, so who knows?
You do you. If something works for you, roll with it. And, yeah, what works today might be different in a year and that’s okay too.
If your having problems breathing in the cold air maybe a buff/bandanna will help. If your really not a morning person maybe a later run would suit. I have a small bowl of cereal an hour before as i can't face eating post run but hey everyone is different keep it up 😁😁
It’s not getting up or getting out in the morning that’s the problem, it’s the actual run. I just find it harder. Perhaps it’s mind over matter. 😬
I find morning running harder. I’m approaching 50 and my muscles don’t feel as flexible in the morning as they do in the late afternoon. I have to fit in runs when I can so I’ve done a fair few at both times and there’s a definite difference. I’m doing the NHS Strength and Flex podcasts on my rest days and they help a bit.
I run anytime but always after a bowl of porridge 😋. I have to have eaten or i’m A dead loss 😃
