So this morning I planned my 3rd run of week 1. I had been in work since Friday afternoon, finishing at 9am this morning. I don't usually do my run in the morning but I had an oaty pancake with blueberries this morning whilst at work then made sure I put my running clothes on at work to ensure I did it when I got home.
Found the run easier at first but started to get a stitch in the last couple of runs. I think this may be linked to the breakfast I had before hand, though it was an hour and a half before I don't usually eat that close to my first couple.
I also noticed at the start of my run (I do the same route each day) that I was further along to where I usually would be after the first couple of runs. It wasn't far but it would a good 20+ meters.
Enjoying it so far but a bit worried about the changed coming up, slow and steady will be my motto on w2r1 to see how I cope with any changes. But I'm a determined person and have lots of friends who run.
Also my left shin started to hurt slightly on today's run? I have proper trainers but may need to look in to this?

Well done to you Buttercup21 on completing week 1 of C25K, slow and steady is your motto, that also is the mantra slogan of C25K, also another Buttercup to join the form??
Thank you, yes I have spoken with the other Buttercup already. I've used the name for years due to the song build me up buttercup as it has personal meaning to me
The Foundations, a group from the 60's had a hit in 1968 called 'Build me up Buttercup' a good song, it did very well in the charts, you Buttercup21 and ButtercupKid will get on very well indeed here on C25K, I am so glad that you spoken with ButtercupKid.
Try to relax.... land lightly... I call it kissing the ground with your feet Worry not, about speed or distance... keep it slow and keep it steady and enjoy!
