Hip ache

Up to a few days ago I was particularly satisfied because throughout the program I have never even had any small ache related to running.

But...

This week I had a bad race on Wednesday, finishing the usual 30 min particularly exhausted; after this I felt a modest pain, but i didn’t worry about it.

Yesterday I had a better run: while I was running (a bit more slowly than usual, that is already quite slowly😁) I haven’t feel any pain, but now I realize that the hip ache is still here.

I need tips: should I stop running for a while or not?

Ha ha I like your name. I graduated last year and will be 65 next month so I’m defo not too old too. Not an expert in these things but I also have aches and pains mainly ankles with me. I’m planning to resurrect my yoga routine to complement this running lark to help with flexibility and strength. Just an idea 🧘🏼‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Your name is really expressive (I used the translator to understand what lousy means😉 because my English is quite poor!); I wish your lungs to become healthy👍so you’ll be able to change your nickname!

Thank you for your idea...I’ll think about doing some more exercises🤔..

Looked at your profile and see you live in my favourite place 🙂I love everything about Italy - food, wine, culture, language ( still trying to learn Italian!), people and opera. Lucky you!

Yes, I was born and live in Italy...if you want to improve your Italian feel free to use it!

Buon weekend: divertiti e non stancarti troppo correndo😁!

Maybe take a couple of days extra rest and see how you go? The ache maybe just a reaction to the tough run.
