Pleased to complete W6 now looking forward to longer runs. Amazed, manage to average 5.5mph on W6R3 but not sure if this is a passable pace..do the next few weeks get you to lengthen your stride a bit..have not gone onto the app commentary yet so may need to check first..🙄🙄🙄☺️

The pace is your own comfortable pace....you run... you don't push you don't worry about time or distance.. are you inside or outdoors?

Outdoors, I warm up thoroughly before the walking warm up. I only asked because I did not know what a reasonable pace was...many thanks

As Oldfloss says if you are comfortable at that pace, stick with it.

DO NOT attempt to lengthen your stride............it is one of the quickest routes to injury.

Understood....I guess because it feels ‘better’ you can be tempted but I will stay at this pace...works well and 8 can still sing along to A Town Called Malice...😂😂😂

Great job. Keep the pace where it is, finish the plan, consolidate and then maybe work on pace. If your comfortable and progressing it’s a good pace... and most of your future running (80-85%) should be run comfortably so it’s a good effort level to get used to. Enjoy week 8

Thank you.....am going to keep steady pace and make sure I warm up and cool down well...have set myself a target of first Parkrun mid Feb....looks realistic and something to aim for..😌😌
