Still not been out for W7R2 as felt drained and ill all week....hopefully I will be up to it in the next few days. I think I will start afresh on Monday and start week 7 again....do you guys/gals agree it would be a good idea after a weeks rest?

Good idea. Rest up and don't worry about exercising until your energy levels are strong again. I know there's a feeling to get it all done in exactly 9 weeks, but if you're ill - you're ill! So once recovered, start W7 again and go from there. You'll graduate in no time after that!

Exactly what I was thinking, I don't want to start and not be able to finish - I think that was my problem with W7R1 - I just wasn't aware I had a virus at that time - hence the run was a total washout. I will start week 7 again as soon as I have the energy again. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated :-)

Hi Nat, :-) I agree with what Dan said; rest up until properly recovered then start week seven again. That's what I'd do. Sorry to hear you're not feeling great; get well soon!

Me too, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. My problem is if I'm well enough to go to work - which I always am, even if ill! Then I'm well enough to run - WRONG! Epic fail! Shall start again on Week 7 ASAP :-) Have a good weekend!

W7 will still be there when you're feeling ready for it. Take care of yourself and you'll soon be good to go x

Thank you very much...hopefully I'll be up and running (literally!) very soon :-) x

In no way can it be considered a 'failed' run - you had a run that didn't go according to plan because you were ill. I think it's an excellent idea to have a proper rest until you are fully well again and then restart week 7. The rest will pay dividends in the long term. I hope you soon recover and good luck with your next run - WHEN you are ready to do it. Best wishes.
