Like many of us I’ve totally lost confidence in sitting on the couch and remaining in the house. Despite waking up to a big storm, I voted leave and so exited the house and ran... and for the first time since November I ran for a full 30 minutes, nice and slowly, in the cold wind and wet stuff and it was bloody great. Next run will be shorter and then I’ll be looking at getting 5k under my belt again. Now I’m back home and plan some planking later while continuing to watch the great comedy I was binge watching yesterday and may have influenced the wording of this post.
Happy running everyone.

Brilliant that's great the 5k will be no problem especially with the weather forecast toward the end of the week like you i enjoy the rain not so sure about the Ice and snow though still it will be fun whatever.
I have snow forecast Friday and Saturday, but Sunday is looking good. Strangely I’ve never run a 5k on a Sunday, so maybe I need to set that straight. Some snow will be fine... but I won’t run on ice, so fingers crossed it’s not going to be too bad.
Great that you voted leave, to leave the house and go for a 30 minute run, glad you enjoyed your run today despite the cold wind. 😊 🏃
Any word about your daughter's school class or whole school starting C25K, I remember last year there was a possibility of at least some children starting the course.
Thanks to your advice about starting from W6 i am really enjoying my running . Thanks so much . I think i may have to listen to Laura forever but there are worse things to have to hear !!! 😀
You voted to leave, you decided exactly how to do it, everyone agreed with you and you did it successfully. Certain public figures (650 of them) could learn a lot from you!
Ah you voted well UNM!! The other option might have been to watch the house!! 🥴 I’m glad you’ve shared the run in the rain as bloody great!! The likes of moi need that inspiration!!
I did my run today too, but thankfully it was only dark (very dark) and it was exactly what I needed too. 🤩❤️
