I’ve always been envious of those of you running by the sea on a regular basis. I’m away with the family this week, so I ran along the coastal path and it was great! (Would the purchase of a beach house, just so I could make this a regular thing, be the most extravagant C25K purchase ever made?! 🤔 )
Managed to run for longer than planned and I reckon if I had carried on for about one minute more I might have reached that elusive 5km. Next time...

Maybe a little extravagant... but I say go for it! I’m in the most landlocked county, and really looking forward to a coastal run at some point this summer.
Lovely! And definitely not unreasonably extravagant
I can't wait to get back to running by the sea, a lot of my runs are on the New Hampshire seacoast but it's going to be a while before I can get back there! For now, my nearest coast is Brighton/Eastbourne, which I am avoiding like the plague because they're full of crazy people that think COVID-19 is a thing of the past!
I can't wait to run by the sea - I live near but haven't ventured out of the park yet as have been shielding. The seafront gets so busy, but really must head down there for my mental well being...
I’m fortunate enough to live and run by the sea but have to add that when I’m running I’m totally oblivious to the scenery - just concentrating on putting one foot in front of the other! 😄
I think I'm the luckiest person as I do my runs along a deserted promenade. The sea one side looking over the Solway to Scotland. On my other side are the gorgeous lake district mountains. Even the rain can't dampen my spirits. Enjoy your running X
