Well done! And same - I've just been out for a 4K run + walks for 40 mins while the boyfriend slept (and still is asleep now). Does give a nice sense of achievement doesn't it?
Sounds like you had a lovely session - I'm sure it doesn't hurt to do a bit more than the session tells you to every once in a while if you feel able to, just keep your rest days!
Good luck with the rest of Week 4 and you have the big Week 5 coming up soon!

Your body will tell you if you were ready for this or not, I think. If you start to ache a bit later on, or tomorrow, you either need to back off a bit, or even take an extra rest day. If you feel fine tomorrow, you're just getting fit quickly. Enjoy it.
(I suspect you're going to be fine if you enjoyed your extra kms like that. If you'd reduced yourself to a wreck, I think your bones would already be acheing).
Obviously you need to keep on being sensible, but it really does look like you're getting nice and fit now. Pains that go away nice and quickly are the best ones.
