My playlist seemed to know it was my graduation run, starting with Jimmy Cliff singing ‘you can get it if you really want, you must try... you’ll succeed at last’ and ended my run with Bat Out of Hell 😂. I always knew I was more of a tortoise than a hare, being 58 and rather short in the leg department; this would have felt like a failure if it hadn’t have been for this forum. Thanks to everyone here I realised it was just about keeping going at your own pace.
It wasn’t my best run, I felt like I was flying on W9 R2, but today was one long slog due to a busy day at work running up and down stairs all day, so there wasn’t much left in the tank.
Anyway, enough of my wittering on, just to say if I can do it anyone can. Thanks for all your support and wise words ❤️

Congratulations! I swear the shuffle in playlists changes when running... my phone knows so maybe... I’d be impressed if it knew it was a significant run though 😂
Celebrate your achievement well, and then enjoy consolidation and your next running adventures
