So after a painful first run which took 4 days to recover from, run 2 was much better. Not quite as painful and fully recovered after a days rest so on to run 3 tonight and looking forward to it.

You’ve got this, the fact that you’re looking forward to it is half the struggle. My W1R3 is tomorrow and not too sure I can say I’m looking forward to it haha

Haha you’ll be fine, I think the fact I recovered a lot quicker after run 2 has helped me a lot

Good luck with run 3. I've just come back from w1r2 after doing run one 4 days ago and it also took me this long to recover 😣. I've had a look at the runs to come in future weeks and can't imagine ever being able to do them but people's posts on here and WW give me hope!

Well done for sticking with it. I'm finding that the more I sit still on rest days, the more discomfort I 'm in... a bit of gentle walking has been working wonders on my aching muscles.

W1r2 was also a lot better for me as well yesterday and feeling so much better than I did after my first run! I think a long soak in the bath straight after helped but def not the first time round! I'm doing a beginner's yoga dvd today which is nice and gentle and also a couple of long walks with the dog to keep me moving, ready for w1r3 on Wednesday. Hope your 3rd run has gone ok

3rd run seemed really hard like the 1st again but I have recovered a lot better so hopefully that’s a good sign.
