Hey everyone! Just started this week after a colleague recommended the app as a starting point to get fit. I'm taking part in a tough mudder in May (for charity, not competitively!) Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm planning on going to the gym on some rest days to work on my core and upper body strength so any tips there would be great too!

Nice goal... and yes, this is the place to get you running. Cross training is always good... so you’re on that. Keep your legs moving on rest days too... it helps the repair process.
The biggest thing is to not try to run this all Usain Bolt, nor Mo Farah... slow gentle runs at conversational pace will make you a better, stronger runner at the end of this plan.
Enjoy your journey.
No problem with keeping the legs moving, I'm a teacher by trade so I'm constantly on my feet!
I noticed with my first run that I went in a little too enthusiastically and was in agony by the half way point. Lessons were learned and today's run was considerably easier and more enjoyable. Thanks for the advice 👍🏻
