Well previous success means I can actually do this!!! So after a long time with no running I’m getting my barefoot shoes back on and I’m going on a machine (too cold out!)

Will report back later 😆😆

Welcome back.

Do check out the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey.

Well done you! I’ve done it and feel like maybe I should start from the beginning again after time off/ injury. I see a lot of people on here doing the same. I guess it’s good that we still want to do it.

Dave totally - you can do it!!! Im actually starting at week 4 as im not completely a beginner, but maybe my deep down fitness will help (who am i kidding!!! ha ha) - I know its going to be hard and I know that I can actually do it because i have done it before... just got to get enough oomph to get my kit on and go for it. i never enjoy the run - just the feeling when ive completed it! I wanted to run 10k but ive never done more than 5/6 really. maybe this year I can get even better!

Yeah I know how you feel! If I go for a run it’s usually got to be early so it’s sometime a struggle getting up early and getting my kit on. Especially when it’s still dark outside. I guess if you keep doing 5k you will steadily build up. I also find different routes stop boredom.

Well I managed a run, ish. Starting at week 4 im going to try again. I signed up for park run a long time ago so now im going to actually go and do one... in a couple of months maybe, when my wobbly butt can run for more than 5 mins at a time and my lungs are stronger
