Unfit but enthusiastic - an intro

I first ran about 8 years ago at the age of 42. Got a bit of the bug and kept it up for about a year before a sick child and life got in the way. I was able to do a 10k in under an hour - just!

I got back into it again a few years ago but didn’t keep it up, so am now back to C25k and quite excited to be running again. I’ve done wk 1, run 2 tonight. A bit achey but feeling ok for an old bird!

I’ll be popping in here for regular motivation as I still need to juggle work, same poorly child, lazy husband 😀 and a small dog! Wish me luck and thanks for being here x

Thank you for the welcome, I’ve read your brilliant guide and will try to put it into practice. Stretching is something I’m very guilty of missing, then wonder why I’m sore. I’ll need to stick to it!
