So we did the last run of week 8 yesterday, and I don’t know about anyone els but the first 5 minutes are the worse for me I just put my head down and try and push through! And so far I’ve never stopped!
I just wanted to say how amazing I have found this app and how much I look forward to it because when I’ve done it I always feel so much better every run feels like I’ve hit another goal.
When I first started I never thought I’d be running for 28 minutes without stopping and actually enjoying it! My advice to anyone just starting keep at it, it’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever done and I’m so glad I started! Here’s to graduation! ❤️💪🏼🍾

The first few minutes are a shock to the body, and although you have much increased fitness it takes time to get all the systems that power your run to kick in, which takes an oxygen deficit in the blood flow... so it’s perfectly normal to have the start of a run be the hardest. It’s referred to as the toxic 10 a lot.
Great job getting to week 9... you know you got this... it’s a victory lap now and we look forwards to cheering you onto that podium in three runs time.
