I'm surprised at how good I'm finding these runs. When I started the programme I was terrified of the thought of doing a full 20 minute run and now I'm doing 25 minutes of running and enjoying it. I have so much more energy in me than I ever thought I could have and it's made me want to make much better choices.
Today we walked 13,000 steps before going out for the run and now we have reached 20,000 steps. Approximately running 3.5km in 26 minutes, which is much better than my last run on Thursday. I can see massive improvements in my stamina and strength.
Brian, my boyfriend, came on today's run and he said how well he noticed I ran and he couldn't have imagined me doing it 6 weeks ago. It's made me feel amazing!
We plan to do week 7 together and week 8 and 9 will be postponed because I'm going in for surgery next week and need recovery time. Perhaps I'll do week 7 again!

That's amazing, and funnily enough, was exactly the same run I did this evening aswell. I also cannot believe that I'm running for 25 minutes - I'm slower than you, but definitely getting faster every time. My husband came too, which really boosted my run, glad you had the same support, it really makes a difference. I hope the surgery goes well, and that you will be back running and enjoying it again soon!!
