Need some help, having compleatrd c25k in a cheap pair of trainers I decided that to carry on and to get to longer distances I should get new trainers. My new trainers are great and give me the support my ankles and knees seemed to need, in my old ones I was getting aches and niggles.
But one slight thing with these new trainers are that I seem to have a blister on my right foot that will not go away can you recommend any socks to look at as I have been told good socks are something I should think about as well!
Thanks

Sorry about your blisters Neverranbefore, good socks should stop blisters but perhaps your trainers are a bit tight though I assume you do have the correct size, perhaps don't tie the laces so tight before you run.
Most people have one foot a little larger than the other, so do get decent socks but follow AlMorr’s laces tip too. Apparently marathon runners cover their feet in vaseline before running to reduce blisters, but whether you want to subject your lovely new shoes to that is a whole other question 😄
I've put a few hundred km on these cheap packs from "the middle of Lidl" last time running gear was on sale, they wick well and stay up so I have no complaints lidl.co.uk/en/MiddleofLidl....
