Running socks are a go!

After finding blisters on the arches of my foot I asked the forum for advice and as ever you all came back with reasons and answers and new running socks were purchased.

First run with my new socks and they are very comfortable and no repeat blisters even though my feet were definitely hot!

Luckily a Misty morning start in South East London last day of my 100 miles in May challenge and I have run/walked 127 miles and a walk planned later when the sun comes out!

Now to find a new challenge but I must say I have definitely fallen in love with running its keeping me sane and fit and all those wobbly bits are definitely more toned👌🏻

A huge well done to you on the challenge 😀 and that's great the new socks are all good. Such a strange place for a blister I don't think I've ever had one there! Maybe you'll need to do the lejog challenge next 🙂

Lejog will have to look that up 🧐

Land's End to John O'Groats. LE-JOG.

To run the distance from one to the other over a period of time.

You'll also see JOGLE, which is the other direction, and is easier because it's all downhill. 🤣

🤓 it costs 29.99 and you log your walk/runs to complete the 800+ miles within 6 months. (I looked it up when another forum user mentioned it 😂). Might be good challenge for you! There's prob a few ways to do it.

Ooooh very nice! I’m looking to finally get some running socks, my toenails aren’t very happy at the moment 🤨. What brand are they? 🦶🦶🦶

Hollys I was recommended them on this forum more than I would normally pay but definitely feel the difference.
