Sitting on a train travelling into London to meet up with the fabulous Hidden to run with her on the final 5km of her 2018km for the year.
I’ve never run in London before or with Jan, but I’m looking forward to it.
Wish her luck, and if you want to find out more about her fundraising for Alzheimer’s Research UK by running the year (2018) in km see her posts or her blog jancanrun.com/ or her fundraising page mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers...
And if you feel like making a small donation that would be fantastic.

It was lovely, blue skies, pink flamingoes and bright orange Jan (well her tee shirt was orange). It was lovely running together and we even managed to chat while running, which is something I've not contemplated before. And at the end of the run the Queen's Guard put on a magnificent fanfare especially for Jan!!!
Yes, she is amazing.Excellent that you’ll be running with her this morning, Helen, we’ll be right beside you.

Thanks Hidden sending you big hugs and virtual bubbles because Razouski and I drank the real ones earlier!!!
Now it feels slightly surreal that the challenge is done, but seriously it couldn’t have been done without this amazing place, full of amazing people.
I thank you so much for your support throughout the year, truthfully I feel blessed to have so many running friends
Well we did it and I’m thinking we may just have created a new tradition - I’m not suggesting you have to come down and see me every Christmas Eve, but I am thinking a 5km on Christmas Eve morning will always keep today in my memory. Thanks so much for your support - it was most definitely one of the nicest 5kms I’ve ever run, and the Guardsman’s Band when we finished was just perfect!
I think that would be an great tradition. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Please thank Mr JCR for providing the bubbles.
p.s. I realised after I'd set off for the tube that I still had a little home made gift for you in my bag - some rather tasty cranberry and chocolate tiffin. I don't think it will keep until we next meet, so I will have to make something else next time. x
Okay, never mind but I do love tiffin and would have wolfed that down easily! How about at the next PCT event, we do swaps - I meant to bring you some of our olive oil, but totally forgot it. This is a really pathetic excuse to meet up for a PCT in the New Year...
