Last night I did it!

After 10mins I thought I was ready to stop. At 2k I though I will just do 2.5k and stop as I had not been out for a week. At 3k I was ok I thought I would go to 30mins and that’s it i’m done for the evening especially as I hit 3.5k my husband had finished his 5k.

Then something changed I started to feel ok. I got to 4K which is a distance I have managed a few times and only having managed 4.5k once I though let me see if I can do it again well yes I can and then it hit me I still feel ok it’s slow but ok maybe one more lap can I do one more lap well one lap turned into 2 and a bit and I did it, with a jump, scream and possibly an impression of a gazzell I did it 5k. 39mins it’s not going to break any records but 14weeks ago I did not think I would even do 5mins of running let alone 39mins!

This was achieved 4 weeks after I compleated the couch to 5k programme and I am well chuffed!

If you are struggling and just starting keep going you can do it!

Keep Running 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️
