I really really want to do W9R1 today, I need to run today if I am to graduate by Christmas, but I have never run in the ran and it is tipping down and I am not sure if my hi vis is waterproof
Fingers crossed

Go for it Helen! I did my w9r1 yesterday in the pouring rain and a howling wind and got soaked to my underwear but I loved it! It was freeing, refreshing and felt great to get into dry clothes after!! Good luck! X
Good luck!! It's not too bad in the rain... New experience! 👍🏃
I’ve discovered how amazing baseball caps are in the rain🧢 - keeps your head warm and face dry 😉
You’ll soon forget about it - rain is fine - go for it!
I agree with Dillyseesee, go for it, you'll feel a lot better after it than if you didn't do it at all. Im dying to get out but can't until tomorrow. Wrap up and enjoy!
Good luck. I ran in the rain a couple of weeks ago and whilst my feet were soaked I really enjoyed it as weird as that is. 😊
Go for it Helen! Surprisingly I don't find running in the rain as bad as walking in the rain! I get really hot when I run - yes, even in winter! - so even if I get soaked I still don't get too cold. Wear gloves if you get cold hands because they can take a while to warm up in the rain. You will be glad you braved it and can celebrate your graduation at Christmas! 🤗🎅🎄🏅
Not sure where you are, but if the temperature is ok, 45F+ then being wet through is cooling and pretty pleasant! If it’s cold then look for a break in the weather.
