Reassurance missing a day is ok...

I’m due to run W4 R3 today, I was going to go this evening due to circumstances and childcare. But I am so absolutely shattered, I’m not sure I have the energy. Will it knock me out if sync if I go tomorrow morning instead, meaning I’ve missed a day? Or will it be absolutely fine? I’m not sure if the running is really knackering me out, plus I have a 20 month old toddler..

There is absolutely no harm on having a extra day off running, rest well and enjoy run 3 of week 4 tomorrow. 😊 🏃🏾

Listen to your body! If you're not feeling up to it, give yourself a bit more time, there's no rush. Good luck 👣👣

Thank you!

An extra day off won't hurt you.

I find when I take days off I feel nice and refreshed afterwards.

I agree with catgirl1976.

I was in an identical position and the extra day was energising. This programme is setting you up for life long habits and there will be days life gets in the way!

Thanks so much!

I get days like that where I can only manage to fit in a short walk but I feel that just a short walk is better than no walk at all!

Exercise is in no way an all or nothing thing!

I take extra days off whenever I feel like my body needs it and I totally feel the benefit. It’s not a race, you’re doing it for yourself. Better to have a break and come back refreshed than burning yourself out and making it a chore. You will totally do this! Just do it at your own pace. Good luck and let us know how you get on! 👍😊🦋🏃‍♀️

Yeh for sure, I guess I don’t like breaking the every other day habit 🙈 but I’m sure it’ll recharge me! Looking forward to the run tomorrow 🏃‍♀️🌈 thank you!
