I'm due to start w4r3 but haven't run for 8 days now due to a stomach bug. Mostly been in bed although I managed a bit of a walk yesterday. Any advice on how my stamina is likely to be affected? Should I start back where I left off or backtrack some? (I'm really missing running!)

There are some nasty tummy bugs around. I am in exactly same position as you, had the tummy bug last week, had a week off but am trying to complete the #Ru2c challenge now I have graduated 😱 Like avacado said just give it a go, and take it steady! Hope you are back to normal in time for Xmas!
You shouldn’t lose fitness in 8 days, it’s more like 14... so just go slow and steady into the run you’re due to do. Enjoy.
I should have listened but didn't have WiFi. I went back and did w3r3 in case but never mind, I really enjoyed the ease of it remembering how hard I found it the first time round. Reminded me of the progress I've made which was positive and I took advantage of that to push myself into running a bit faster which felt great. I'll go back to where I was before next run with confidence.
