Its been a bad week!: Just re-ran Week 5 run... - Couch to 5K
Its been a bad week!
Please don't give up and don't worry about repeating runs . Just try again and go slow take slow deep breaths good luck😊😊
Well done getting back out there. You can do this... the last run you did was tough too. Relax and go as slowly as you can, you’ll get it. The run you did made you stronger even with the stops.
Don't panic! I had 5 attempts at one of the runs, but keep trying and you WILL get there.
Every run is making you stronger, even if you don't complete it, so don't give up. You can do this!
Have you read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which explains about the easy conversational pace that I recommended for all doing C25K.
Slow down, relax and enjoy it.......... don't make it into a fight.
The benefits, both physical and mental, from sticking with this are enormous and life changing.......... you don't need to run fast to be fit.
You can do this.
Some weeks we don't have as much energy as others and week 5 is notoriously tricky. Keep going, remember how far you have come already. And whatever happens you are getting out there and exercising 3 times a week despite it being very cold. So well done to you. When I have a bad week I often try an extra rest day, a different route or different play list to get out of the rutt. Good luck! 😀
I agree with EL82 - some times you don’t feel you’ve done well and it gets you down but you’re still out there! Remember week 1? I still do and that was April, so when I have a “bad” run I think back to that! Don’t put pressure on yourself beacause what I learned from this is that a positive attitude is half the battle. You think you’re training your legs and heart but it’s also your head. 😆 Good luck on your next run.
Don’t give up. I think most people have bad runs . I know my last one was difficult. Keep going. You’ve come so far.
Thank you everyone for all your incouragement! 🙂
