These things happen... but you’re doing 6k now... maybe ease back a bit, maybe see a physio about that ankle... but you can run.

Don’t give up now. Check the ankle out. You don’t have to do 6k.

Don't give up! Everyone has bad days / weeks.

I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but it would be such a shame if you gave up now after you have achieved so much. You are run down and everything always looks worse from that angle.... Get treatment and advice re ankle, take some vitamins to boost your mood and immune system, and even get out just for a walk and some fresh air.

Keep going... :-)

Just getting out of bed will be a great achievement, pull those covers back, out on your running gear and walk out that front door......doesn’t matter if you walk or run, but doing something is better than nothing and fresh air and exercise always make things feel better. Good luck and big hugs

Hey don’t be too hard on yourself, you need time to recover from the virus before you do anything right now. Take time to recover , sit with me I’ve been off all week too with bad leg 😊

OK, what's talking here is the after effects of the virus - there is very often a neurological impact which makes people feel very negative regardless of their usual emotional wellbeing. No big decisions either way need making about running at this point, you don't need that pressure.

A spot of fresh air is very likely to be a good thing, whether that's a short gentle run, or a walk, or mostly just sitting on a bench. Do you get any existing professional support with your mental health?

(I spend most of my life in bed)

Eat well! Food is medicine. We don’t always feel like eating much when unwell but do try and eat as healthily as possible Bovril and toast is usually a good starting point. Then homemade chicken veg soup. Rice pudding is nice too

I hope you feel better soon 💪👍
