I tried but ankle is to sore just going to wait for scan
Don't run would have been my advice ..I waited until my MRI results came through and was told categorically, not to run until they had been seen. You may do more permanent damage, I am so glad you decided to wait
This is nightmare I started to think now I may never run again this is 7 weeks now if I ever run again are have start c25k again
Don’t panic. You will run again in good time, as long as you don’t push too hard now and do yourself a permanent injury. Trust your medics ! It is very frustrating having to wait, I know. Is there any other form of fitness training you could be working on to build up your muscles and stamina within putting weight on your ankle ? There’s a great book called “Sit Strong” out this year, with loads of exercises that can be done sitting. Is it ok to swim ? Maybe talk to your medics about how you feel and see if they can suggest anything ? Look after yourself x
I in the gym doing upper body that the best I can do now think my running days could be over now this is the 7 weeks and no improvement what so ever
If it is a stress fracture, don’t run, so don’t run unless they say it isn’t! You’ll be back, but you don’t want to make it a longer spell on the IC.
