So I completed week 4 on Monday and to be honest it was a bit of a struggle. Felt like a snail. I was suppose to run on Wednesday but everything go busy and I am having to do it today instead. Should I go on to week 5 or redo week 4?

It doesn’t hurt to redo a week. I did this the first time I did C25K. It’s not a race. Work with your body and you will get there.

I'd try w5. Remember each run and each week prepares you for the next. If that proves too tough, no problem, treat it as an extra training run and just go back to w4

Thanks Stevie, followed your advice and didn’t stop. Still very hard though. Guess I need to have more trust in the program.

The general advice on repeating runs is straightforward: repeat the runs you DON’’T complete, not the ones you do. You’re ready to attempt week 5 if you completed week 4. Week 4 has almost twice as much running as week 3 so if bourse you noticed a step up. Week 5 doesn’t increase the total running time - it’s more about reducing the amount of walking.

The fact that week 4 was hard should not trouble you. On the contrary, the fact that it was hard BUT YOU STILL DID IT should be a source of encouragement.
