Just completed W7R2 and I still found it hard.

Iโ€™m itching to go out and do the runs but whilst Iโ€™m doing these longer runs I hate almost every min of it then feel good or relieved at the end.

Will I get the enjoyment back again? I hope so.

The wind is also my enemy the last 4 weeks all my runs Iv had to battle against strong wind which is exhausting me too, the joys of living by the sea.

Graduation seems so far away still this week. Although I know itโ€™s only 7 runs away.

Good run. Youโ€™ll get it back soon Iโ€™m sure.

I'm with you Pinkybee in hating the wind. Why is it that it goes against you on the outward direction and somehow changes and goes against you AGAIN in the opposite direction!? ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Yes god itโ€™s so annoying I set out and quickly have to change my route and end up going round in circles just to avoid it as much as I can. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Running is hard which is why most people don't do it. But you do so you're already epic ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช

On a run just think about all the huge benefits every step is giving your body and head. Think of it as an investment in your future you. But running in the wind is extra hard but just think of it as an extra hurdle for you and when you run with no wind, it'll feel so much easier!

In the meantime, it will become easier the more you run because you'll be fitter and stronger. But unfortunately we have to put the hard graft in first ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜ค

You're nearly there, just keep going. It's so worth it for the feeling at the end.

Thank you for your encouragement I think my body and mind are trying to get used to just running no stopping.

Are you running at an easy conversational pace, as described in the guide to the plan? healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Yes I think I would stop if I went any slower having asthma does not make me fast ๐Ÿ˜‚.

You can always go slower.

Slow running builds stamina.

I feel like that, too. Just started week 8. Enjoyed it a lot around week 3, then got sick around week 5 and don't feel I've got back into it. I'm also competing to be the slowest graduate ever! Thanks for sharing. We're not all running like elated gazelles at the end of the programme!
