I'm with you Pinkybee in hating the wind. Why is it that it goes against you on the outward direction and somehow changes and goes against you AGAIN in the opposite direction!? π
Yes god itβs so annoying I set out and quickly have to change my route and end up going round in circles just to avoid it as much as I can. π€¦πΌββοΈ
Running is hard which is why most people don't do it. But you do so you're already epic πͺπͺ
On a run just think about all the huge benefits every step is giving your body and head. Think of it as an investment in your future you. But running in the wind is extra hard but just think of it as an extra hurdle for you and when you run with no wind, it'll feel so much easier!
In the meantime, it will become easier the more you run because you'll be fitter and stronger. But unfortunately we have to put the hard graft in first π€π€
You're nearly there, just keep going. It's so worth it for the feeling at the end.
I feel like that, too. Just started week 8. Enjoyed it a lot around week 3, then got sick around week 5 and don't feel I've got back into it. I'm also competing to be the slowest graduate ever! Thanks for sharing. We're not all running like elated gazelles at the end of the programme!
