First run done! For an overweight non runner that is epic! Haven't admitted to anyone apart from my partner ( who loves long distance running...cycling...anything sporty in fact!) as dont want the attention in case I cant do it. 😬. Might have to run in the dark if i dont want to bump into anyone though!😁.

Great job Suzie - welcome to the crazy gang ! I still duck up side alleys to avoid pedestrians and go out at dusk (off road and away from traffic) and in the rain, because no-one else does ! It’s very friendly here and we’re all right behind you. Enjoy your journey x

I used to try and hide away but now I don’t care, go out with pride because I run, I’m doing it, look at me. I’m not sitting on my couch anymore.

Hat down over my face. Yep that was me. Now week 8 and head held a bit higher. Still red faced and still overweight (but nearly 2 stone less) and now loving life. Keep up the amazing work.

That's great well done. I have yet to start 😫 Always got an excuse. This week my excuse is that my project for a course I am doing is due in Friday and still lots to do. Signed up to do a 10k run at Easter so I need to get started!!!
