A run of sorts

I hadn’t run since my go on the treadmill in Beijing last Thursday - not sure why although no access to a gym for a couple of days and really bad jet lag. I decided I HAD to run today but didn’t do the programme. Just 5 mins brisk walk, 10 mins run, then cool down but I figured better than not doing anything. For some reason I can’t get my head around doing the programme out here but want to keep the habit of running at least a bit. Also had a swim after. I was starting to feel quite depressed so thought I needed to get out there and it definitely helped lift my mood.

Every run has a purpose.... that’s a run that will maintain your fitness. Good job getting it done. Fit some like that into a holiday and you’re back home ahead of where you’d have been if you’d not run at all.

Good idea to get a run in.

Your body will benefit. The programme is still there for you to pick up again when you're back.
