Nothing to dread in “that dreaded run”

Mentors on here are mentors for a reason ... just did wk5r3 and as they’ve all said - it’s actually doable !! Can’t believe I just ran for 20 minutes !! 5 weeks ago i struggled with 20 steps (ok I’m exaggerating a bit but allow me a little poetic license I just ran for 20 mins!!)

So all of you out there worrying about this one - seriously don’t ! Previous runs have been harder ! And the feeling when you finish is totally worth it 😃😃😃😃

I am not a mentor here on C25K Loops67, just a graduate, the mentors are here to advise you how to run and complete the course, yes, many words have been said regarding the third 20 minute run of week 3, the night before I was due to run it I only got 3 hours sleep but once I ran it like you I was elated at my achievement and graduated about 4 weeks later, not about but exactly 4 weeks later, I was fortunate enough not to repeat any weeks.

That’s great to know as my Week 5 Run 3 is tonight or tomorrow. I’m nervous but excited...glad yours went so well and I have my fingers crossed for mine :-)

Agreed! I did not have any problems with Week 5.

Its a great achievement and it feels good 😸

Take Week 6 steady. I found it tougher than I expected. But once you pass Week 6 I'm confident you can make it all the way! 😸

Happy running!
