Started my couch 2 5k journey today and completed my first run. Went better than I expected. If anyone has any tips please let me know.

Go to a running shop that checks your gait and buy a good pair of running shoes. Once on start very slowly and do the time, distance comes later. Enjoy and do as the app (Laura) says.

Glad you have started the course.I thought it was an impossible task but continued and ran my first park run on my 83rd birthday. My best wishes and good luck. I will follow your efforts and look forward to your successful conclusion.

I was were you are this time last year and am now running 5k Park runs slowly but I am a 68 year old lady with asthma. You CAN do it.
