It's amazing how different each run can be. I seem to be having alternate good and bad runs since I've hit the longer runs. I did this last night and although I got through it, it wasn't comfortable. I got my first stitch since starting c25k, but that was my fault. I ate half a banana too close to leaving home. I think I might of been running slightly too fast and couldn't get comfortable with my breathing and then the gremlins started.
I did manage a 30 minute run....not on purpose, but because the app stopped and I didn't realise for ages. I had to walk for about a minute around mile 2, but I got in an extra hill.
No a bad run, but not a comfortable run. Planning W8R1 as my first early morning run on Friday.

There are definitely good runs and better runs, but any run is always better than no run at all👍. Sounds like you know that you started too fast, perhaps remember that if you walk faster for your 5 min warm up and run slower for the first five minutes of any run it really helps, particularly when you're relatively new to running.
You know what went wrong, and that's good..listening to your body.. even after a run is a great idea. next time you know that if you relax, start slow and stay slow, you are going to be just fine.
The longer runs are just perfect for relaxed runs and letting the new legs find their happy pace...so head out and build on this run... go you!
I think they’re up and down because we’re still gaining the fitness and we are running the same run at the same pace every time... I’ve found a new even slower gear recently and I’m loving it! Still have to use the higher ones every now and then!
