I really can't stop the routine now...wish there was another app to keep me going!

So, graduated last Friday, ran 5k on Sunday (best pace ever even though I was super slow), and had a wee 30 minute slow consolidation run today. I'm really noticing a difference now in that it used to be the first 10 minutes was easy and now I reckon I was 20 minutes in before I started to tire. I'll do another couple of slow 30 minus runs and then start to mix it up a bit. How much fun is this?!

Have a look at the NIKE Run App - they seem to have quite a number of audio driven "fun" runs plus programmes for specific purposes. Certainly enough to mix it up during the consolidation phase of your running.

It’s great fun isn’t it? 😁.

You are doing great and will continue to love running as you carry on past the programme

Great consolidation work... it’s staring to get more comfortable, and you felt tired but then recovered on the run for a strong finish. Keep having fun out there. If you try Nike “just a run” is great for consolidation!

Yes, I agree with unm. Just a run on the Nike run app has been seeing me through my consolidation runs. The coach is much more chatty than MJ but o like having someone with me at 6:45 in the morning!
