W7R2....just wasn't meant to be today! :(

After a fantastic W7R1 on Saturday I was really looking forward to my next run.

I tried to go Monday afternoon, but the MIL's cat had to be rushed to the vet.

I tried Tuesday, but work was relentless, so I thought today during my PT session was a definite....not so.

I was rudely awoken at 6am by the baliffs knocking on my door....OH hadn't paid for a Dartford Bridge crossing, but thought he had....their fault not his! His fault for not opening his post and the numerous notices telling him there was a problem! Thereafter I was worrying about them coming back and trying to get into my house.

Set of on the run all ok, but then my leggings started falling down...trust me not a pretty sight for innocent commuters! Then the gremlins got a hold of my head and I just couldn't concentrate.....I'm sad/annoyed to say I gave up after 10 minutes!

Plotting my next opportunity to run....I will not be beaten....the feeling after R1 was too amazing to not be repeated.

Good job getting out after that day. Bailiffs have no power of entry, even the foot in the door is illegal. Anyways... we can’t have malfunctioning leggings out there... innocent commuters don’t need to get all hot and bothered on the passing busses, you’re right!

You know what? It doesn’t matter if you run 5 minutes, 5k, 5 miles, 5 hours... you ran, and that is to be celebrated... you did 10 minutes... could you do that 2 months ago? Be very proud of where you are now... the run will wait... and making it wait is just you being in control of your own journey. Your life has been hectic, your day started with stress, and you got out there and had a run. It may not have been the run you wanted to do... but it’s still a victory, as are you. Enjoy your next run, we are all proud of you.
