Another week down and I am still rather unsure how I am managing to do the time - 25 minutes now for each of the next three runs - but I am!!!! I suppose that having three 25 then increasing is to get us to lengthen the distance/ shorten the time. Ie go a little quicker. At the moment I am doing a mile in 13 minutes so need a big improvement of knocking 3 minutes a mile off over 30 minutes to hit the 5k. But I have got another 9 runs and with the breathless staggering hopeless first W1R1 run just a fed short weeks back I do honestly believe anything is possible. I have just set myself a new target of finishing the whole programme this month and then celebrating with doing my first Park Run (in Horden) the last weekend of November. Here goes nothing!!!!

C25k is designed to get you running for 30 mins continuously, not to do 5k in 30 mins. You can build up your distance/ speed once you have graduated. Well done on getting this far, just relax and enjoy the rest of the journey.

Don't get hung up on pace Bloodhound, just enjoy the runs, increasing the time each week is sufficient improvement, push harder and you increase chances of injuries, just enjoy your new fitness! 👍

Ok don’t sweat the pace. I thought I was slowing down but after checking my times I’m shaving seconds off each run. I’m sure you are the same. Just remember how far you have come. You are amazing
