W6R3 complete!!! πŸ™Œ

Run 2 in W6 was a struggle and knocked my confidence so I felt anxious about this one but I was determined to do it.

Half way though my legs started to feel heavy and tired but I kept going…it was definitely a mental challenge so I repeated in my head β€œYOU CAN DO THIS” and surprisingly the time went by quicker than expected and then I only had 5 mins running left! I’m soo proud of myself for completing the 25 mins run. For some reason the non stop running was better than the interval runs and I actually found it more enjoyable! For the first time (ever), I feel like a runner YAY! 🀩 πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Thanks both! I did it but my god was it hard or what! I got a stitch 2 mins in and wanted to stop but didn’t yay!

A stitch sounds uncomfortable. I have avoided those but have broken down coughing at the end of a few runs and thought I was going to be ill but luckily I wasn't. Since I got Ill I find it very easy to overdo it. In my head I can do more but my body says no like a stubborn horse. I can't blame it as I feed it energy sapping tablets every day then say I want your help to run for 30 minutes 😁

I found the non stop running better. You have the stamina now to finish the course. There’s no rush, so take your time on your runs. The whole program is to run for 30 minutes, so keeeep πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Thank you 😊 Yes this programme is amazing at building stamina! Thanks for the advice I will take each run slowly, think I’ve found a good steady pace now πŸ‘

At the time I definitely enjoyed the breaks but after surgery I was unsure about non stop running. My physio said try to build up to 10 mins. Oops πŸ˜€.

Well done 🐼 Panda_eyes! It’s definitely a mental battle quite a lot of the time. And you got through it with flying colours 😊. Have fun with week 7 - you’re getting so close now πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

Congrats this is definitely a milestone. I lost focus around this time week 6, but it was reading comments which gave me the impetus and once I could do week 6 I knew I could do week 7 and then it's week 8. Good luck you are closer than you think.

Yes I completely agree and I have definitely needed them to help get me out of bed. No surprise where I am currently πŸ˜€ so no running today.
