Just over 5 miles this morning. Picked up a slight groin niggle along the way so a couple of days rest I think. Suddenly 13 miles appears very daunting.😲😲. Happy Sunday everyone.

Well done. Thats a good start!

Rest that niggle.

You have loads of time to get to HM distance - honest - so just take it steadily.

Do remember to cross train, strength train and stretch (not all at once πŸ˜€) all things to help get you there in one piece. Doesn’t have to take hours but the longer the distance the more it becomes necessary (imho).

Thanks for the advice. I have purposefully given myself lots of time to prepare. 6 months ago I couldn't run for a minute πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
