Morning guys, so today minnowburn came a calling, the run was through forest, parkland and soggy leaves, starting and finishing at the Mary Peters track in Belfast, not sure of the time as yet, but I’m just glad to have finished it, the hills were a killer 😩. Anyhow the Run Forest Run series gives out some lovely bling, so all is forgiven.... for now.

Glad you enjoyed your run πŸƒ today Walshy3, not as cold as last weekend, if leaves are soggy and thick, they are almost like 🚢walking or πŸƒ running over a soft carpet. Not sure of your time, that doesn't matter too much, as long as you enjoyed your run today that is the main thing. 😊

Hi Al, it was cool and rainy, but it had stopped before the race started, it was only towards the end that the hills started, and they were steep, I crawled then!! But to cap it all we got a lovely bit of bling so alls goodπŸ˜πŸ‘

I really want some bling! πŸ…πŸ₯‡ Well done Walshy! I found parkrun warm today too. I prefer chilly personally. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Hi cheeky, long time no speak!! This was a cold, damp and hilly one! To be honest I could have cried!! But the bling, soup and rolls were worth it, I’ve just signed up for another in December, just as a wee birthday treat to meself😁😁

Brilliant birthday treat! Good idea! I love the bling soup and rolls too! πŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

I also find hills a right pain - my legs have a speed of their own and refuse to go any faster. I’m getting better but I’ll never spring up them like the gazelles who pass me each week at parkrun!

Enjoy your running Walshy! πŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜€

Hills chill me to the bone, I’m always scared of my calves tearing, it was them darn hills which started my downwards spiral to injury 😳anyhow I’ve signed up for the wee Xmas one, purely for the bling,I dare say they might throw in a cuppa and a wee mince pie for your effort! Another lady on this forum wears the funkiest leggings in her races and photos, she sent me the link to the website she buys hers from, they’ve a cracking pair with Santa and Christmas trees on, I can see PayPal takin a hit, but sure it’s Christmas πŸŽ„πŸ˜πŸ˜

Good god there were plenty of them today, I was nearly gonna throw meself into the Lagan river to get out of it!! Like yourself, I detest hills, they serve no purpose only to create misery for myself, they really should be outlawed, still and all I’ve just signed myself up for another one, the post run euphoria must have affect my ability to make sensible decisions!!!!

Another good run and more bling! Hope you’ve got a large rack to hang them on! Keep on loving it.

I will deffo try to unm, this particular running event always gives the best bling, it’s worth it to get them, hadn’t done much last week at all by means of running, but I’ve all next week off work to reclaim my running legs!!
