Ok. Is there anything demotivating you? Or just a general lack of get up and go? Maybe setting a goal and reward in the short term would help? Or a local C25K group?

So what are we going to do about it?

Also, what are you going to do about it?

What made you start the plan? Has that changed?

Only you can make you do this...........only you will stop you.......

I had slight back ache on Wednesday when I ran another 5k, once I started the run I certainly was not going to give up and stop, I continued to run, it did slow me down a bit, I ran it in 37 minutes, about 4 minutes more than my PB. Once the aches go get out there and resume with week 2 again as you have not been running for over two weeks now.

We have all been there! You are not alone. I have a few things that help me. I post after every run, the good, the bad and the unremarkable. You will find yourself supported that way which will add to your motivation, kinda like making yourself accountable. The next thing I do is look for 3 positive about the run, a puppy that crosses my path, a cheery council man that waves at me each time I lap the park, that I’ve run further/longer than last time. I also reward myself at each milestone, I bought myself some flowers, a running jacket, some biltong, I’m thinking of getting a tattoo when I hit 5k. Obviously not C25k branded on me but something personal that marks an achievement I had never considered possible. Don’t know if they will work for you but maybe you could give it a go?

Not what you're looking for?
